BEVERAGES
Egg Nog
Serving 4
3 cups cold
milk
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons
sugar
1/2 teaspoon
vanilla
1/4 teaspoon
salt
1 cup crushed ice
Blend well
Banana Nog
1 medium
banana
1 1/2 pints
vanilla ice cream, cut into pieces
1 can
evaporated milk, chilled (6oz can or 2/3 C)
1 large egg
1 teaspoon
vanilla
Combine all
ingredients in blender. Blend about 30
sec pour into 2 chilled glasses.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Hershey Hot Cocoa
Serving 4
1/4
tablespoon Hershey cocoa
1/2 cup
sugar
Dash salt
1 quart milk
1/4 teaspoon
vanilla
Combine dry ingredients in sauce pan blend in
water. Bring to boil over medium heat,
stir constantly. Boil and stir 2
min. Add milk, stir and heat. SO NOT BOIL.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Beat with rotary beater until foamy.
Yield 1 Quart
Orange Summer Cooler
1 6 ounce
can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1/2 cup
sugar
1 teaspoon
vanilla
12 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately
Root Beer with Dry Ice
Yield 5 Gallons
5 pounds
sugar
5 gallons
water
1 3 ounce
bottle Hires Root Beer extract
5 pounds dry ice
Mix together sugar, water and
extract; blend thoroughly. Add dry ice
about 20 to 30 minutes before serving.
Makes five gallons.
Do not bread up the ice. Be certain no one tries to eat the ice.
Root Beer with Yeast
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon
yeast

tablespoons Root beer extract
1/2 gallon
hot water
1/2 gallon cold
water
Let stand 12 hours before serving.
Slush with Banana
4 cups sugar
6 cups water
5 banana,
mashed

tablespoons Lemon juice
2 cups
orange juice
1 46 ounce can
pineapple juice
Boil the sugar and
water together. Add the rest of the
ingredients and freeze. Serve with 7 UP.
Slush
4 packages
frozen raspberries
3 6 ounce
orange juice
2 large cans
crushed pineapple
12 cups
water
3 cups sugar
2 quarts ginger
ale
Boil water and
sugar together. Cool. Pour over fruit and freeze. Just before serving pour over all 2 quarts of ginger ale.
